Basement Conversion To Kitchen and Dining Room
Following a previous contractors sub standard works barrett kent stripped out the previous contractors membrane system and concrete floor and started again!!
Drainage channels had to be cut and inserted in the perimeter of the sub floor, cavity drainage membranes were then fixed to both wall and floor areas with fully heat sealed joints followed by the installation of a fully insulated laser levelled concrete screed flooring.
A metal stud wall system and plasterboard ceilings are installed following all electrical and plumbing works the metal stud framework was insulated before the fixing of plasterboards and application of a skim coat finish.
Once decorations had been applied a comprehensive fit out of wc, kitchen and dining area was undertaken to give the client a very successful stress free conversion in just 4 weeks.
Our client was so impressed he insisted we did the other renovation work on his property which we undertook.
We have now moved into the newly converted cellar, which is being utilised as a Kitchen and Dining room. Barrett Kent has completed the work to a very high standard and the cellar is light, warm and dry!Mr Jackson
